On January 15th, Gabri Christa's new film "Son" premieres in Miami with the ScreenDance Miami Festival 2021's Invited Short Films + Open Call Documentary. This evening of film premieres is out of doors and features SON by Gabri Christa; HER MAGNUM OPUS by Marta Renzi; PULSE:/IMPULSOS by Niurca Marquez; and SWIFT by Ros Warby on New World Center's Projection Wall at Soundscape Park.
Son (2020) is about a mother who tries to find a moment to herself, but constantly worries about her black son's safety and keeps hearing his call/voice.
