Moving Body - Moving Image is an evolving biennale thematic exploration of the Moving Body on Screen founded and directed by Gabri Christa

Moving Body – Moving Image 2026 explores the theme: The Moving Immigrant Body on Screen, bringing together films exploring migration, displacement, identity, memory, heritage, belonging, and the immigrant experience.

The festival will have two parts with a full day event at Lincoln Center’s David Rubenstein Atrium on October 18, 12:00–6:00PM, followed by additional programming and installation at Barnard College’s Movement Lab October 19–24.
